Treatment

Dysport® - Crows’ feet, frown lines, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Smooth away wrinkles for up to 16 weeks with Dysport treatment.

At Laser Aesthetics, we use Dysport® (botulinum toxin) – the European alternative to Botox – to prevent wrinkles and fine lines from forming. This treatment is popular among millennials and works by relaxing and softening the muscles in your face. While regular top-ups are necessary, the effects can last up to 16 weeks.

Dysport® is also an effective treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) as it blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles, preventing them from contracting and maintaining their shape.

For excessive sweating

For those who suffer from excessive sweating, Dysport injections can be life-changing. By blocking the signals to the sweat glands, less sweat is produced, which can help alleviate the social stress and embarrassment often associated with hyperhidrosis. This condition typically affects young adults and treatment with Dysport can provide relief.
Results may vary between patients but treatment usually lasts around 6-7 months.

You might know it as botox. Dysport® (botulinum toxin) is the European version we use at Laser Aesthetics. Used by millennials to help prevent wrinkles from forming in the first place. The injections relax and soften fine wrinkles on your face and while regular top ups are needed, treatment lasts around 16 weeks. It’s also an effective treatment for sufferers of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

FAQs

Most people feel a light prickle but if you are sensitive to needles we can numb the area with ice packs or anaesthetic cream before Dysport treatment.

Your first Dysport session will typically be for 30 minutes, which includes a consultation with our aesthetics nurse.

Dysport treatment has been around for over 20 years and the dose used for these botox (botulinum toxin) treatments is small. We only treat the face, palms or armpits, where the ingredients stay, eventually being broken down by the body.
