Whether you’re looking for solutions for a troubling issue or want to know the steps to take to improve your overall skin health, a consultation is a valuable step towards improved results.
We offer a skin assessment for $60, which is redeemable if you take up treatment within three weeks.

What does a skin consultation involve?
Our nurse begins with a chat about any concerns you have. They will look over your skin and determine whether it’s dry, oily, normal, sensitive and whether you have any underlying conditions, like rosacea or spider veins.
The nurse will discuss treatment options, which may include skin laser treatment or intense pulsed light (IPL) for sun spots and sun damage or to help improve skin pigmentation. Our trained vascular skin laser specialists often have patients referred by dermatologists. Our nurses will also identify when to refer clients to specialists. Like when larger spider veins are best treated by a vascular specialist or when varicose veins maybe present. Again, they will refer you to our vascular specialist.
Our nurse will ask you what your skin concerns are, including about:
- Acne or blemishes
- Dryness or dehydration
- Signs of ageing, such as wrinkles or fine lines and what improvement you’re after
- Hyperpigmentation or uneven skin tone
- Redness or sensitivity
- Skin tags.
This is an opportunity to discuss any previous issues you’ve experienced, treatments or skincare you’ve tried and the skincare you currently use.

Aspect Dr – available through approved stockists
We stock the Aspect Dr skincare range, which is known for its ability to help restore hydration to the skin and to aid in improving tone and texture, as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines. This clinical skincare range is only available through approved medical or aesthetic stockists. These concentrated products need expert advice when choosing the best for your skin. This advice for how much to use is crucial.

Lifestyle and general health are important factors in a skin consultation
Next our nurse will discuss your lifestyle and general health, including diet, hydration, sleep patterns, stress and any illnesses and medications, including supplements, you are taking. All this may impact the appearance of your skin.
What will the nurse recommend in the skin consultation?
Discussion will include a treatment plan or products for your skin. Our nurse will discuss the right time for you to begin any treatment or product use. Recommendations will include:
- Suggestions for skincare products suitable for your skin type and concerns
- A facial, dermaplane procedure or laser genesis treatment for skin rejuvenation
- Intense pulsed light (IPL) for sun spots or otherwise sun damaged skin
- Skin laser treatment for spider veins – heat is used to penetrate below the skin surface so the veins eventually fade
- Tips for improving your daily routines, like cleansing methods and wearing sunscreen all year round.

Most often, you can book treatment straight after your skin consultation.
